Offseason Preview: Los Angeles Dodgers (Part One)

Big Chad Billingsley couldn’t get it done for Los Angeles in the playoffs, but he has the type of stuff that can anchor a rotation for years to come.

Los Angeles has big decisions as far as Manny Ramirez and Rafael Furcal,  both of whom could easily be gone. They also have some pitching decisions to make as far as whether or not to make a run at Jake Peavy or free agents CC Sabathia, AJ Burnett, Derek Lowe or Ben Sheets.

Youth will be a big theme for Los Angeles, a team that will lean on 20-something pitchers Billingsley and Clayton Kershaw. Hong-Chih Kuo is a potential starter as a lefty who throws in the mid-nineties.

The Dodgers should certainly have a big chance to repeat as NL West champions as the rest of the division is retooling.
