Published by llwesman at 7:43 am under Colorado Rockies, Major League Baseball Edit This

Lineup Projection

C. Chris Iannetta

1b.  Todd Helton - Clock is ticking on Helton but he is a Rockie for life.

2b. Jeff Baker - A platoon type who will split some time with Clint Barmes, the two should be productive.

3b. Ian Stewart- A top prospect just a short while ago, Stewart is ready for a full time job and should be able to be a powerful force in the mold of Garrett Atkins.

ss. Troy Tulowitzki - Bobby Crosby or Miguel Tejada? He has the potential to be either one coming off an injury plagued season.

lf. Carlos Gonzalez - New acquisition will be hoping to step in much like fellow former Diamondback prospect Carlos Quentin did in Chicago.

cf. Dexter Fowler - Willy Taveras could be traded as Fowler is a big time type player.

rf. Brad Hawpe

sp1 - Jeff Francis

sp2 - Aaron Cook

sp3 - Jorge De La Rosa - Great stuff for this guy, consistency is the key

sp4 - Ubaldo Jiminez - Great stuff for this guy, consistency is the key

sp5 - Greg Reynolds - Big year ahead for what type of player he will become.

closer - Huston Street
