2006 MLB Draft Mulligan Picks 16-20

Original Order:
16 Jeremy Jeffress Milwaukee Brewers
17 Matt Antonelli San Diego Padres
18 Kyle Drabek Philadelphia Phillies
19 Brett Sinkbeil Florida Marlins
20 Chris Parmelee Minnesota Twins

New Picks:
16 Milwaukee Brewers - Luke Hochevar, RHP - Righty still has major league stuff and can become a solid starter, Milwaukee might be a nice spot for him.
17 San Diego Padres - Adrian Cardenas, 2B - High school star hasn’t disappointed for Philadelphia and Oakland, he would be the correct pick over Matt Antonelli at the second base position this time around.
18 Philadelphia Phillies - Dellin Betances, RHP - Hard throwing and raw righthander would bring a youthful pitcher to Philadelphia’s system.
19 Florida Marlins - Desmond Jennings, OF - Athletic centerfielder isn’t a finished product yet but has rare athleticism.
20 Minnesota Twins - Daniel Murphy, OF/IF - Low ceiling hitter is a consistent player who could be the type of player the Twins like in their lineups.

2009 All NL East Team Pitching Staff

Hamels’ incredibly hot wife puts him over Santana in our rotation.

Sp1 - Cole Hamels, Phillies - He earned it with his playoff dominance

Sp2 - Johan Santana, Mets - He’s the multiple Cy winner but Hamels got his team to the promised land.

Sp3 - Mike Pelfrey, Mets - Finally lived up to his potential last season with mid-90’s fastball.

Sp4 - Ricky Nolasco, Marlins - Rising star performed very well last year as Marlins ace.

Sp5 - Jair Jurjjens, Braves - Big acquisition came up large for Braves in 08

LRP - John Maine, Mets - Outstanding makeup with mediocre stuff.

LRP - Josh Johnson, Marlins

MRP - Ryan Madson, Phillies - Very effective reliever

MRP - Matt Lindstrom, Marlins - Not too many throw harder than this righty.

MRP - Francisco Rodriguez, Mets - Choke artist brings his act to Mets, should fit right in.

SU - Mike Gonzalez, Braves

SU - JJ Putz, Mets - Just another high90’s fastball to add to our dominant bullpen in a division that was known for bullpen blowups in 08.

CP - Brad Lidge, Phillies - Coming off the perfect season, how can you pick anyone else?

2009 All NL East Team Lineup

1. Hanley Ramirez, Marlins ss - Best shortstop and becoming the best player in baseball.
2. Chase Utley, Phillies 2b - Best 2b in baseball coming off an injury
3. Carlos Beltran, Mets CF - Five tool guy a little lazy sometimes but still hits third for us.
4. Chipper Jones, Braves 1B - Masher who gets overlooks, probable hall of famer when it’s all said and done.
5. David Wright, Mets 3b - Gold glover who can hit
6. Brian McCann, Braves C - Maybe the best catcher in the game right now
7. Ryan Howard, Phillies DH - Could be higher if not for prolific strikeout numbers
8. Raul Ibanez, Phillies LF - RBI machine should drive in anything Howard doesn’t.
9. Jimmy Rollins, Phillies RF - He’s an athlete and we need his speed, good arm too.

Backup IF - Ryan Zimmerman, Nationals - Only representative from worst team in baseball.
Backup OF - Jeremy Hermida, Marlins
Pinch Hitter - Carlos Delgado, Mets
Pinch Runner - Jose Reyes, Mets
